The Cottage at Riverside is a private home nestled between the James River and Forest Hill Park. Recently-renovated, it is a three bedroom cottage with all the amenities of home. It has a well-appointed kitchen and a large living and dining area anchored by the hardwood floor, making for a warm and comfortable feel. The beds are adorned with quality sheets and down comforters and plenty of pillows. It can accommodate up to six people.

Available to every guest is a wide selection of travel books, an extensive (if not eclectic) DVD collection and a variety of board games available for your entertainment. The rear porch is great to store your bikes, kayaks, and all other outdoor equipment. A work station is located in the Florida room and a second desk in the full bedroom that can be used in any room for a comfortable week of teleworking.

Five minutes from downtown Richmond, the cottage is also steps from the Reedy Creek Recreation Center of the James River, a popular spot where you can throw your kayaks or canoes into the James River and float for miles. It is also steps away from hiking and biking trails which can lead you all the way to Colonial Williamsburg.

Michael and Scott bought the cottage in 2019 and live nearby. They are considered “superhosts” by Air BNB and greatly enjoy welcoming new friends. They are happy to share local recommendations on food and activities and will go the extra mile to ensure you have a wonderful stay.
